Curtis received his Professional Coding Certification through the American Academy of Professional Coders - AAPC. Currently he is a Medical Coding Consultant, the sole proprietor of Coding Systems Workshops. In addition to teaching Coding and Reimbursement Curtis is a remote Medical Coding Auditor for Inpatient and Outpatient medical records. He has been a auditor/trainer in the military system for over 13 years and has international recognition. Having worked with the Airforce, Navy and Army hospitals and clinics in the US and abroad. He has trained doctors, nurses and the medical coding staff to insure that maximum reimbursement is obtained without breaking the law.
