Curtis Guise

Life - When he isn't out filming race trucks in the middle of the desert you will most likely find Curtis spending time with his wife and kids, riding mountain bikes, BBQing, smoking some good meat, enjoying a craft beer or a glass of wine.

Work - Curtis has been into art and design for over 25 years. He started designing and painting custom bike helmets and number plates for friends and team members in the early 90's while working as a bike mechanic. He later became the lead graphic designer at a sign company but quickly learned that his true passion was filming and editing video. In 2001 he created the Dezert People Video Series which has 10 titles in the series with more on the way. Plus other DVD titles and web videos have been added to the list over the years. Juice Designs is Curtis' graphic design business and he recently designed and created custom camera accessories that are sold under the Juice Designs brand. Curtis became the co-owner of race-dezert.com in 2007 producing web content and working on many behind the scenes aspects of the business. And he most recently purchased the vintage off road website Off Road Action at www.offroadaction.ca

Play - In his early years you would find him skateboarding, riding/racing BMX bikes and snowboarding. More recently he has been into desert racing, racing/riding mountain bikes and traveling in Baja.
