Due to claims made by Loan Charge Group involving holiday pay and a cyberattack, FCSA is being investigated:
The All-Party Parliamentary Loan Charge and Taxpayer Fairness Group (APPG) wrote to Chris Bryce, the CEO of the Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA), regarding holiday compensation and cyberattacks on umbrella firms. Just so you know, the FCSA is a membership organisation for umbrella companies, contractor accountants, and CIS payroll providers and offers accreditation for compliance. The APPG is pleading with the group to address significant problems that the industry is facing.

Smith v. Pimlico Plumbers is the first instance on the list. The Civil Division of the Court of Appeal found that Gary Smith is entitled to have vacation time given retroactively after finding that he was an employee and that the right to paid leave could therefore be carried over. FCSA umbrella is charged with depriving contractors of tens of thousands of pounds.
According to BBC's Moneybox, an umbrella company with membership in the Freelancer and Contractor Services Association has been charged with depriving contractors of thousands of pounds in holiday pay.
