Fully equipped with an overactive imagination, C.V. Madison has been writing quirky horror stories since third grade. The writing badger mauled her early, leaving her with several entries in school writing competitions and the burning desire for a creative writing and education degree. She went on to pursue a degree in massage therapy while rekindling her love for the written word.

With a long-standing love of the dark and macabre, she continues penning horror, purveys urban fantasy and dabbles in sci-fi. She has been published in fiction anthologies from Dark Moon Press, Circlet Press and Jupiter Gardens Press and non-fiction from Llewellyn and Immanion. She works to improve her craft and thicken her skin.

Through the month of November, she can be found in local coffee houses, over-caffeinated and surrounded by other crazed writers. Armed with her trusty laptop, she strives to bang out fifty-thousand words in thirty days for National Novel Writers Month while serving as one of two municipal liaisons for Columbus, Ohio. She sometimes keeps up with her blog around a terrible video game and World of Warcraft habit. Her procrastination station is Twitter where she documents a writer’s crazy life.
