Clem is a Senior Operations Engineer with the CNN Best Group.

Clem is a member of both IEEE and SMPTE, Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers and Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, respectively. As a member he stays abreast of the past and more importantly the current broadcast industry trends, news, and standards.

Clem has more than 12 years of industry experience. Using his past and present work experiences of training, installation, and configuration of CNN broadcasting equipment and standards. Clem can customize and make industry standard changes to commercials and promotions material set to play, "on-air" on storage for "live" events.

Over the last decade, Clem has worked with a wide range of industry leading equipment vendors and corporate advertisement clients to help them as well as CNN reap the benefits of quality and first class viewer ship.

As a former Military R51 engineer who entered the military as a private and left as a squad leader of 30 soldiers and as a former Lead Nikon Optical Tech, Clem specializes in simplifying complex procedures and presenting them in a clear and concise manner to help award winning photographers achieve winning results. This skill set helped Clem become a new employee trainer here at CNN in both Quality Control and Commercial Ingest procedures. From a strong work ethic to concise installation reliabilities, Clem has become well known for his personalized commitment of supporting his CNN customer base throughout the Turner Broadcasting networks.

Clem resides here in Atlanta, GA, along with his wife of 23 years and 2 sons.

A graduate of both Georgia State University and Dekalb Technical Institute in both Business Administration and Electronic/Computer engineering, respectively.

Clem enjoys family first; everything motor sports, reading, and trailblazing with his sons.
