Chris Wright

I have just finished my undergraduate degree at the University of Sheffield obtaining a 2.1 in B.A. Human Geography. As of September I will be a postgraduate student studying M.A. Politics also at Sheffield. Following the hopefully successful completion of my postgraduate degree in Politics I hope to either undergo further education or move into research, political analyst or the civil service.

Outside of academia I am interested in the environment and countryside, as one would expect from a Geographer. I also take an interest in visiting stately homes across the country, partly due to having undertaken research in my degree regarding the life of upper class women in the 19 century.

I’m also very much interested in American culture, especially that of the North East. I enjoy watching American television programmes such as Desperate Housewives, Glee and Family Guy and very much enjoy other aspects including their football and chocolate.

That’s me in a very brief and somewhat boring statement about myself. There is plenty I have missed out, but you will only find that out if you speak to me!
