Cydnee CIMONE

Cydnee Cimone hails from Chicago, IL. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in advertising and minor in communications. She also attended The New School for Public Engagement in New York City where she studied Media Management.

At a young age she began using her skills of marketing and promotions by working with the Chicago concert promotion company, Concert Management. She was able to establish herself initiating at ground level by distributing flyers for concerts then later began managing the promotional street team, delegating appropriate locations for distribution. Cydnee also implements new creative marketing strategies for the company along with research of various audience markets and providing Concert Management with effective strategic planning for each show. In 2016, she is now co-founder of Encore Productions, a subsidiary of Concert Management.

Cydnee has now created and developed a web channel, Color Me TV, to focus on sharing the stories of people of color through several web series. From scripted television to documentaries, Cydnee essentially wants to create a large space for stories that are rarely told and to be an advocate for unheard voices.
