Cyndi Johnson

Hello! My name is Cyndi Johnson, and I would like to introduce myself. I have two main passions: baking and paper crafting, and this site is about my adventures in the kitchen as well as my adventures with all things paper.

My love of baking came first, as, growing up, I spent countless hours in the kitchen with my mother. My passion for paper crafting came later, after I was introduced to rubber stamping when my kids were in school. I love the challenge of designing and customizing a project for a particular person or event, and a whole new world opened up for me when I discovered that I could make packaging for my baked goods!

I currently live in New England, but I have Nebraska roots. You will see both of these geographical areas reflected in my projects. I attribute my love of nostalgic recipes and my home-spun crafting style to my midwestern heritage, and my use of nautical images and “C” colors to the Atlantic coastline.

I have other passions as well, which include mason jars, soup recipes, wild Maine blueberries, and all things Christmas. In fact, I listen to Christmas music all year long while I'm crafting--it just makes me happy!
