Cynthia Bee
Hi. My name is Cynthia. I have a weakness for beauty. Love is an obsession for me; I cannot truly love something and not become obsessed. This can be called "passion", but sometimes it merits the name of "insanity". I have many obsessions, I love as deeply as I breathe.
I scribble in French on the occasion of profound boredom. I admire the human intellect when it is sharp. I fancy the color yellow. I aspire oneness.
I was born in Latin America, specifically Haiti. I love my people. I love the rough yet poetic tone of our language. I love the melodic sound our palm trees make as they are being pelted by soft rain. I love the enduring hope in the depth of our children's eyes.
I aspire to live, become, and accomplish high above my aspirations. I defeat myself sometimes; I hate to leave that to others to do for me.
I am undeserving of the love that God has richly given me. I find my freedom in belonging to Christ.
Sometimes all I really need is a big hug. I long for expression.
To me, freedom is knowing that my threats are merely spiderwebs. Though they have the look of a prison, all it takes is a swipe of the brave hand and they disappear. I just love it when they disappear!
Giggling for no reason at all is a necessary event to me. Embracing my family and friends is something I enjoy very much. I savor the moment of meeting someone new. I have found that beauty is everywhere. I enjoy loving.
