I am an experienced writer, reporter and editor with more than 15 years of experience as a journalist at wire services, magazines and national newspapers, including The Washington Post. I love discovering stories, investigating, doing research and interviewing all walks of life and writing about people and important issues. I also like to look at the big picture and am both creative and detail-oriented -- making me the perfect editor or consultant for your next book, manuscript or media project. When I am not editing or writing nonfiction pieces, I am hard at work at my first novel. In my free time, I like to read, take pictures and spend time with my family. I have traveled the world, first as a Navy brat born in Thailand and now as a military spouse.
