Frankie Wong is a work in progress in the legal field of Hong Kong. Currently a Legal Executive of a humble Solicitor's firm, Frankie mainly works with Solicitors in criminal defence, divorce proceedings and civil litigation while on the side handling bankruptcy proceedings, notarial assistance, marriage by civil celebrants, probate matters, corporate matters, and trademark registration and is seeking every opportunity to develop and evolve his skills.
Born in Taipei, raised in Vancouver, Canada then finishing his high school studies in Hong Kong, Frankie furthered his multi-cultural experience working as a Flight Attendant for Dragonair at the age of 18, and as a Hotel Receptionist for over 2 years before his current career. His career in the legal field sparked when it was suggested to him by a friend that he should attempt studying law after seeing his ability to give speeches and engage in negotiations in disputes.
He then enrolled into HKU SPACE in 2009 on the Advance Diploma in Legal Studies on a part time basis. He finished his first year with distinction and was offered a postition to work in litigation support with a Solicitors Firm in 2010, and in 2011 he was elected to be a Registered (Now known as Associate) Paralegal (Hong Kong) by the Institute of Paralegals. Frankie is currently still gaining valuable experience everyday, while applying the personal customer service skills he has learned during his time in the travel and tourism field to enrich his client care skills.
Frankie has finished his studies with HKU SPACE in 2012 and has in mid 2013 moved to his current Solicitor's firm where he now is a Legal Executive, taking on a bigger role in assisting with legal work of solicitors mainly focusing on litigation but taking on whatever chances he can encounter. He hopes to grasp the challenging nature of the position before furthering his studies.
In his spare time, Frankie enjoys cooking (actually he can be a major foodie if not for his devotion to the legal field), reading, and speding time with his close friends and family. Aside his mothertongue of English, Frankie also speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese. Feel free to contact him by e-mail at [email protected].
