Ali Jailam Riyaz, professionally known as D-JLAM, began his DJ career in 2016 as the in-house DJ at Four Seasons Maldives, where he refined his craft over a three-year period. He further expanded his experience by performing at various events, including staff and guest pool parties, at the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, he held the position of resident DJ at Kanuhura Maldives, delivering eclectic performances that catered to diverse audiences.

As an open-format DJ, D-JLAM’s versatility allows him to seamlessly blend various music genres, tailoring his sets to the unique vibe of each event. His portfolio encompasses a wide array of occasions, such as weddings, birthday celebrations, sports events, New Year’s Eve festivities, private parties, and Christmas Eve gatherings. He firmly believes in music’s power to motivate and energize, striving to meet and exceed guest expectations through his dynamic performances.

D-JLAM refined his skills at the Rendezvous Music Academy in Malaysia, under the mentorship of DJ Nick, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of industry experience. This mentorship has been instrumental in shaping his approach to music and performance.
