Hey, I’m Donna. I’m a project and hr manager living in New York.

To be successful as an individual you have to learn to have strong will every day, but above all to believe in what you are doing. And to be successful in business, except the capital, a clear strategy and the mission you need to have a good team - people who are dedicated to success. Every successful company must have at the forefront of decisive leadership, but also very motivated and satisfied employees.

The moment when you realize that the employee is not just a number, that moment you have already voted on how you want to start a business.

HR is there to ensure that employees achieve their full potential and to choose the right man/woman in the right place. As HR manager, I work on identifying and developing the competencies that are needed for different roles of employees. Through discussion with experts in the field of HR and I realized the difference in the organization. Somewhere HR participates in the selection and the selection of staff, and somewhere helps people to discover and develop their potential.

Some of my first questions in HR were: "Okay, but how we measure something? How do we know whether training is worth it? I try to encourage my employees to acquire their own responsibility for personal and for the success of our community.

I also try to help my employees to realize that motivation should not be only of financial nature, but should come from within.

I also offer examples of corporate social responsibility to our employees, so they are aware of it.

Knowledge of the process and most of the procedures, as well as support from my international team, is a great help because HR world is different: different set of processes are visible and the invisible web that make this job very specific. What should never be forgotten, is the fact that the interest of the company is always ahead of all other interests, but also that it is important that each process require access to in a professional manner and with much understanding for employees.

By working in a company where all the business and environmental values are respected and cherished, to have a lot of understanding is one of the most important tasks. In our company, every employee enjoys equal respect.
