Hi, I’m Diana!

I’m an Occasional Teacher with the York Region District School Board (elementary) and the Waterloo Region District School Board (secondary). I had an amazing opportunity when I first graduated from teacher's college to work at an English summer camp in Taiwan. This was my first major experience with ELL and I didn't feel prepared at all. It was a learning experience for me and for the students.

I am a fan of music, food, and movies. Music can change my mood in an instant and I always look forward to a solo karaoke session in my car! I am always up for trying a new restaurant/recipe if it is made by someone else. I love food, but not cooking.

I’m also interested in coffee and dogs. I am an avid Starbucks visitor, but above everything else, enjoy the unconditional love I feel from my dog Miley.
