So, what is NOT in the resume - ?
Well, am a So'Cal transplant living in Seattle. At heart, am a Data Raconteur: I am passionate and excited about studying data anomalies and trends. I have studied data from repositories as diverse as Hollywood blockbuster revenues, building stock characteristics in the US, energy efficiency standards for the 50 states, lap times in Formula One racing, to rider drop out rates in Tour de France (check out my Tableau Viz's).
I have a PhD in Energy Economics from Michigan, supplemented with a double Master's in both engineering and energy policy. Since I wanted to tell visually drop dead gorgeous stories, I added Tableau to my skillset. Database skills (MYSQL) came next, and Business Analytics and Finance (Harvard CORe) skills soon after. I have published plenty of academic papers (in another lifetime) and have received National awards in recognition of my performance. I am an excellent teacher too.
My multidisciplinary skillset is very unique; that and my public sector experience are both highly transferable to the private sector. My resting pulse is one that of 'Curiosity'. Inspired by 'Learning' and driven by creating positive changes in our society, in the end - I am just infinitely curious when something fits, well, to be more specific, when something doesn't FIT - ! Outliers and anomalies interest me ...
PS: Zuma Beach in Malibu is my definition of paradise
