We have been learning about time management for the past 5 weeks now.
Managing time efficiently is an integral part of effective studying.
Recently AFP students were given a time management log to complete. This is designed to help students structure their studying around their social and personal time.
I would like to think that I have always managed my time somewhat well. However, with the intensity of the AFP stepping up a gear, I find I am not managing my time as well as I could be perhaps. Family life and commitments place an added strain on my study time. Therefore, it is all the more important for me to have an effective time management system in place.
For now I am trying to fit in 2-3 hours study each evening during the week. I try to fit in 4 hours of study on Saturday with the view to having Sunday study free. At least for the time being.
As I have been out of the education system for some time, I feel that forming consistent study habits will also play a large role in effective learning.
As the intensity of the course progresses, I will reassess my time management log and adjust accordingly.
