David Alba

As a native Angelino, I grew up in a freeway gridlocked car culture. After college, I entered the world of commercial logistics first moving people, then warehoused merchandise, and ultimately intermodal containers from ships at the nation's largest ports. I founded GRID Logistics Inc., a company that links ports rail and roads together powered by electricity. Byproducts to our vision include; significant reduction in carbon emissions, reduced freeway traffic congestion, jobs created through mass "tax-free build" infrastructure, and innovation through global trade, where the flow of merchandise shipped each year is valued at over 14 Trillion dollars.

Our vision - to build a company that's more like an investment vehicle to facilitate the teaming of partners that specialize in project finance, technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and public-private-partnerships. We are currently in search of a firm that specializes in transforming startup companies into a global presence.
