Before I became a novelist/blogger/podcaster, I was a reporter for cable TV, radio, and print, as well as a visual artist. My journalism awards include an Emmy. My childhood was spread out between U.S. coasts, parts of Spain, while I corresponded with my grandmother in Argentina.
