Domonique Abner

Greetings! My name is Domonique, I'm a native Detroiter, a mom, sports junkie, serial networker and a woman who wears many hats. I'm a huge social media enthusiast, I love to share what I'm doing in real time. I'm always using some form of social media to bridge the communication gap for those who may not be there with me at the time. I've transitioned my personal love for social media into a business in which I currently have five clients for whom I provide social media marketing and branding services.

I'm a huge sports fan - I love all sports but basketball and football have my heart. I played basektball from third grade all the way through high school and my father raised me to be a proud Detroit Lions fan (no matter what our record is). I'm probably Lebron James biggest stan (stalker+fan), as I've been following him since high school. I'm beyond excited to see him get the Cleveland Cavaliers their first championship.

I'm currently working at Title Source which is under the Rock Ventures Family of Companies. I work on the Tax Team during the day and in between time I'm the Director of Marketing for Rock GOLD. Rock GOLD is a professionals networking group for team members working for the Rock Ventures Family of Companies in downtown Detroit. We are focused on strengthening the greater downtown Detroit culture, environment and image. I love working for a company that does so much for Detroit. As a young girl growing up in a rough neighborhood not too far from downtown Detroit, I never thought I would see such a turnaround. It's absolutely amazing.

When I'm not working one of my jobs, I can be found doing a plethora of things. I play flag football on Thursday nights with the Come Play Detroit league, I enjoy a good Slow Roll on Monday nights if I can, I hit the Eastern Market every Saturday and if there's something to do with Detroit sports and I can get in, I'm definitely there too! I love meeting new people, sharing my stories and offering words or encouragement to anyone I meet. My personality has been descried as "effervescent" - full of liveliness and exhilaration.
