Derek Armsden

Born at a very young age, I realised almost immediately that I knew very little and set about acquiring knowledge with a passion rarely seen in the post-war era.

Somewhere along the way I decided that being creative was more satisfying that trying to work out how to do long division and that set the tone for the rest of my life.

I've been a graphic designer since 1979 and self employed since 1988. As the industry changed from airbrushes to Photoshop, I went with it. When the internet came along I went with that too, with most of my work these days being web development.

I still miss my airbrush.
