Originally from Jamaica West Indies, Dahlia has lived in United States for the last 30+ years. Shortly after migrating to the United States, Dahlia joined the Louisiana Army National Guard. She served 26 years with one deployment to Iraq in 2005-2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. During her deployment, she reacquainted herself with “her love for sewing” and developed a love for drawing and painting to pass time. Her Educational accomplishments includes a Masters in Business Administration with emphasis in Techmology Management from the University of Phoenix earned in 2003. Personal Trainer Certification from Pinacle Career Institute in 2010. Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in 2013. Holistic Nutrition Certificate from PenFoster in 2014.

Dahlia, now a disabled veteran, has reinvented herself to support her Emotional Wellness through the active process of being aware of her emotions and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Besides a love of the arts, she also has a penchant for outdoor activities including gardening, cycling, hiking, walking, and natural remedies.

As the founder of Kidz Fitness SolutionZ Inc, a (501c3) non-profit dedicated in promoting healthy lifestyles to Kids and Adults, Dahlia occuipies her mind, body, and spirit promoting/coordinating fitness programs such as Tennis, Volley Ball, Tai Chi, Pilates, Home Economics - (Healthy Cooking Classes, Sewing Classes, Self-Care), and Arts and Crafts to the local community of St John the Baptist, Louisiana. Throughout the year she occupy her time with marketing promoting and fundraising to launch a Fitness After Care Program, volunteer time Painting with seniors, coordinate Health and Beauty Events, Kids Model Search promoter, communicate with parents, keep families informed, and working to promote Kidz Fitness SolutionZ Programs to new communities. Dahlia support KidZ Fitness Programs with her own resource and tax exempt donations to the non-Profit.
