Dara

I am a daughter, wife, mother, aunt, friend, follower of Jesus. I was a granddaughter, and a sister. I am a transplanted California girl living in a small town in the southeast corner of Kansas.

I love animals, music, art, games, and while I'm not a full time girly-girl, I like the color pink and am attracted to shiney,sparkly things. I hate lima beans, mean people, the color gold, and those nasty sticky labels they slap on the front of anything remotely worthy of displaying.

I work at a funeral home; I don't embalm or otherwise touch the deceased, I don't see ghosts, but I do see dead people. I've heard almost every funeral pun, joke, and play on words out there, but my favorite is "we put the FUN back in funerals."

I am recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and my hobbies include photography, video games, drawing, reading, and most recently genealogy.
