Dakota Gallimore

I am a dual degree software engineering and computer science major at The University of Virginia's College at Wise. I love to push my boundaries and accomplish things that have not been tackled by the world. This leads to me being very outgoing and optimistic but morally driven. I love to help people and will go out of my way to ensure my friends and co-workers are well before myself. I love to rapidly develop and deploy software and lean towards mobile R&D development because of this.

I have five years of programming experience that range from C++ to python. I tend to prefer C# or Java as I am currently developing applications for the mobile platforms like Android and Windows Phone 7. Android runs on a modified version of Java while the core Java API's are accessible on android the main UI elements might as well be their own language. Since components like JFrames or JPanels are not used. Windows phone uses C# with custom .NET API's to perform what you need the phone to do which is neat and very helpful for rapid development of applications.

Application Hope is my company designed to improve everyday computing by innovation. The sole concept is to allow tight developer and consumer interactions so developers can better serve their consumers, while getting their name out to more people. While Application Hope is entirely based online and formed by numerous developers spread across the globe, there is one single goal and that is to help people. If you want to get in the know on development or want to be a developer under the Application Hope banner please contact me at [email protected] or an Application Hope representative at [email protected].
