I'm a product engineer studying Data Science at IIT Madras. Most of what I've built sits between "technically impressive" and "someone actually wants this," and I've been on both sides of that gap enough times to trust the second one more.
Right now I'm the technical owner of a live consumer product: voice onboarding, an AI matching pipeline, and real users, built from scratch and owned end to end.
Before that: production software used by 47,000+ students at IIT Madras, a first-place win at the Google Developer Groups Vertex AI Hackathon, a top-12 finish out of 250,000+ participants, and a couple of second-runner-up national placements.
The thing I keep coming back to: the game everyone's playing and the game you're actually scored on are often two different things. Most of my better decisions have come from spotting that gap.
