Dale Crowley

Dale is an audio director, composer and sound designer at Gryphondale Studios, which provides these services to video game companies around the world. Gryphondale Studios can be found at www.gryphondale.com.

He is also the founder and Managing Editor of Designing Music NOW (www.DesigningMusicNOW.com) and when he is not creating music, he loves nothing more than to be writing about it! Designing Music NOW is a collaboration of more than 20 of the top video game composers, audio directors and educators from around the world who are dedicated to sharing their craft of composing music for video games and interactive media.

Dale, who has a degree in Honors Physics from Purdue University, has traveled the world gathering influences of music from China, India, and Europe. On those travels, he even lived as a Zen Buddhist Monk in China for several years.

Dale's musical projects have been global collaborative efforts such as "The Mystic Poets Society" which is made up of fabulous musicians from around the world who are all collaborating via Indaba.

Another global collaborative effort, The Upanishad Project combined the talents of more than 30 fellow Indaba musicians from around the world came together to create a dozen songs and numerous remixes, all for charity.
