Vancouver, BC, Canada-based CPA, CGA, whatever. Accountant by day. Accountant by night. I love dogs, so here's a picture of mine. I also love life, cars, and technology.

I have a B.A. English language degree from UBC and DAP from UBC. My love of reading and language structure combined with my expertise in business from being raised in a family of immigrant entrepreneurs gave me the foundation and basic tools I've used on my journey to where I am today.

Over the past 10+ years, I've been privileged to work with and help a wide variety of clients, ranging from fresh micro start-ups to larger businesses to multi-million dollar real estate development companies, facilitate change in their business processes and polish their existing ones in addition to fulfilling the role of a traditional accountant.

I use everything I've learned at the boutique accounting firm I founded, Dale Fan & Associates, by helping my clients make sense of the numbers behind their business. I don't like confusing people with jargon. Communication is an overemphasized but under-utilized skill.

I currently serve on the board of directors of a not-for-profit called Umbrella Multicultural Health Co-op which aims to help newcomers to Vancouver get access to the medical services they need. I also serve as a mentor to aspiring accountants.
