Da’Lia is the Assistant Director and Recreational Leader for the City of Philadelphia Department of Parks and Recreation. In her role, she develops, plans, coordinates and administers after-school youth recreation programs. In addition, she is a certified trainer and dance instructor at the Philadelphia Progressive Center for Dance. Da’Lia focuses on client’s individual health issues and the increasing problem of obesity and health risks by incorporating dance in their daily exercise routines. She believes dance is the way to a fit and enjoyable lifestyle. While teaching dance, Da’Lia consults her clients on the proper techniques of spiritual renewal in adopting a healthy lifestyle of living. Da’Lia is personable, engaging and responsive to her client's health concerns and ensures to help her clients to maintain their personal health goals. She is an influential leader who advocates a healthy lifestyle for a healthy community.
Da’Lia earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Temple University and currently pursuing a Master in Health Administration at Strayer University.
