Student and Photographer in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India

I'm currently in my third year as a Ph.D. Scholar. My research focuses on an area I find fascinating and crucial in today's digital age: Fake News in Social Media.

My academic journey has been quite diverse. I completed my undergraduate degree in Law (B.A.,B.L.) and then pursued a master's in Journalism and Mass Communication (M.A. JMC). This combination has given me a unique perspective on media and its legal implications.

I'm honoured to have received the UGC NET/JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), which has been instrumental in supporting my doctoral studies. My research interests extend beyond fake news to include child rights, an area I'm particularly passionate about.

Outside of my academic work, I enjoy exploring creative mediums. I dabble in documentary photography and filmmaking, and I'm always looking to improve my skills in design and editing software like Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro. I'm comfortable communicating in both Tamil and English, which has been helpful in my writing and research.

I'm committed to contributing to a better understanding of media dynamics and social issues. While I still have much to learn, I hope my work can play a small part in promoting accurate information and protecting vulnerable groups in our society.
