Cinzia D'Ambrosi

Cinzia D'Ambrosi is a documentary photographer whose extensive ability and experience to engage and enter various communities has rendered her photography work of a great depth and unique vision.

Cinzia often engages in long term projects to bring to light her investigations on a deeper level. Her most frequent photo stories involve workers conditions, marginalized communities and the effects of the economic crisis in Europe.
Cinzia has engaged and initiated her documentary photography in various campaigns to promote social changes. Her work on illegal coal mining in China was the source of an extensive awareness campaign in China from the Justice and Peace Commission of the Hong Kong Catholic Diocese. Recently, her ongoing work on marginalized communities in Europe is developing in various collaboration with NGOs.
