Dametrius Silver

Dametrius H. Silver is an accountant, tax professional, entrepreneur, and founder of SilverLine Tax Solutions, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based accounting and tax firm. Born and raised in Lincolnton, North Carolina, he has built his career around tax preparation, small-business accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll, and advisory services.

His introduction to accounting came through his wife’s family and ultimately led him to begin preparing tax returns with Liberty Tax. There, Dametrius quickly discovered that one of his strongest abilities was not simply understanding tax law, but explaining it. A natural extrovert, he developed a conversational approach to taxes that helps clients understand what is happening with their finances, why it is happening, and what their options are.

He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte while working full time and raising two children with his wife. His professional experience has since grown to include hundreds of tax returns, business bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, and accounting workflow automation. His interest in technology has also led him to develop tools that streamline repetitive accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Dametrius is currently completing the final stage of the IRS Enrolled Agent credentialing process, further expanding his expertise in federal taxation and taxpayer representation. Once completed, the credential will strengthen his ability to represent taxpayers before the IRS and deepen the tax-focused services he provides to individuals and businesses.

Dametrius founded SilverLine Tax Solutions with the goal of creating a more personal and premium accounting experience. He believes clients should feel genuinely taken care of rather than processed through a system. His approach emphasizes responsive communication, clear explanations, attention to detail, and an environment where clients can comfortably ask questions about their businesses, taxes, and finances.

Despite working in a profession known for technical rules and numbers, Dametrius is known for being approachable, conversational, and down to earth. Outside of accounting, he is a lifelong anime fan, language enthusiast, international traveler, and avid learner. He speaks Spanish at an upper-intermediate conversational level and has also studied German and Mandarin.

Dametrius is ambitious, driven, and focused on building businesses and a professional reputation that reflect the standards he sets for himself. His long-term goals center on entrepreneurship, financial independence, continued professional growth, and becoming exceptionally good at the work he has chosen to pursue.
