In my day job I'm a Paediatric Anaesthetist at Monash Children's in Melbourne, Australia.

I teach doctors who are training to become anaesthetists, and I am researching how learning and assessment interact during their training in my PhD at Deakin. There is still a lot we don't know about how best to ensure trainees learn while we ensure they will be safe anaesthetists when they finish. And since we'll all likely need an anaesthetic some day, I think that's important.

Off-duty, I like to run and cycle whenever I get the chance.
