As a Therapist in Training at the Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership Ltd, I currently offer an affordable therapy service. Fees are £25.00 per 50 minute session. I am on my 4th & final year of the Post Graduate (Masters) Gestalt Diploma in Psychotherapy Training Course, leading to UKCP registration and am in regular Clinical Supervision. I have a background in television, writing & teaching.
I provide a safe, confidential environment to help you explore a range of life issues. My primary modality is Gestalt but I am happy to discuss alternative ways of working. The issues that lead people to seek therapy may be general or specific and could include:
Searching for ways to understand yourself better and gain more fulfilment in life;
Struggling with issues relating to relationships;
Experiencing stress or anxiety related to work or home life;
Having difficulty adjusting to traumatic life events;
Many people find therapy with a Therapist in Training very rewarding and life changing. Some people explore self development issues whilst others choose to explore historical issues that impede daily functioning.
We would normally commit to meet on a weekly basis for 6 sessions and then make a plan, based on what we have explored together and then review progress on a rolling basis. Please come and see me to discuss what is bringing you to therapy. If, after our meeting, you don't think that I'm the right therapist for you, I will offer to refer you to an alternative therapist and will assist you through this process.
