I am a studying journalism at the Mayborn Graduate Institute of the University of North Texas. My interests include fashion, sports, design and photography. Although my concentration is digital media, I find it interesting to acquire skills in other areas of mass communication. My in-depth knowledge of design and other elements of journalism was spurred in 2009 when I got employed at the campus newspaper. I started out as a rugby reporter and photographer before taking the reins as sports editor in 2011. Within my first six months of administering the sports section of the campus weekly, I was privileged to receive two Texas Intercollegiate Press Association (TIPA) awards. The awards included second place Sports News Story and third place Sports Page Design. After college, I intend to work in a magazine company, a sports related network or wherever I find myself.
