I'm currently developing new digital and retail amenities for a client, working with another client to create a highly targeted consumer product, and working with big-name bands on live entertainment opportunities.

I help manage four websites, two premium digital magazines and two Apps (Android and Apple).

Previous experience includes launching DooM, one of the most influential consumer products in video game history. I also worked on the launch of Microsoft Xbox.

I created a game-changing B2C sales channel for Vodafone — buying mobile devices was limited to specific retailers. I changed that by taking mobile devices into mass-market grocery and convenience retailers, supporting the launch of pre-pay. Sales exploded, Apple launched the iPhone and hey presto...

Then I launched the world’s first Internet-based B2B mobile management service. I'm not sure it's a good thing to say...when mobile costs were high, this service allowed employers to allocate personal spend to personal expenses = not good for employees, fairer for employers. This speeded-up the move by the mobile industry towards all-inclusive contracts, which greatly increased Contribution Margins.

I partnered Costa Coffee with Royal Dutch Shell to bring superior products to tens of millions of consumers worldwide. Format developments followed. Most importantly, it brought a higher quality branded experience to Shell's consumers.

I've been a gaming judge, won industry awards and been published by The Economist, Financial Times and more trade media than I can recall. During my career to date, I've had the pleasure of experiencing industries as diverse as Cloud, food and drink, gaming, retail and TMT.

Additional challenges I’ve relished include managing startups in the UK and Netherlands, providing me insight about running and managing business' and staff.

I am a long-time professional member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, received my first MA in Economics from the University of Glasgow and my Master's in Marketing from Kingston University (with Distinction).

I also flew with the Royal Air Force.

In my personal life, I volunteer to clean up the canals of Leiden using kayaks. Additionally, I like to cook from scratch, scuba dive, swim, sea kayak, cycle and read.
