Drawing upon more than 15 years of administrative and executive-level leadership, Dr. Damien Hansen serves as an Office Manager with the University of San Francisco, where he directs campus operations and all facilities-related maintenance and improvements. Damien is responsible for assisting with budget management and the development of the campus marketing plan. He also plays a pivotal role in strategic enrollment management, engaging in recruitment activities and planning major on-campus events for prospective students. Damien took the initiative to design and deliver all student and faculty orientations electronically, an effort that has resulted in significant cost savings for the university and has made the Santa Rosa Campus virtually paperless. He provides consistently first-class customer service to all campus constituents and guests. Dr. Hansen is also a master at collaborating with colleagues and building interdepartmental rapport, a skill that has streamlined operations and vastly enhanced the student experience at USF.

Prior to joining the university, Damien Hansen spent six years as an Air Wing Instructor and Administration and Operations Department Head at the United States Navy's Naval Strike & Air Warfare Center in Fallon, Nevada. He previously worked for five years as an Operations Team Leader with the California-based U.S. Pacific Fleet Intelligence Unit, where he was cleared for Top Secret information related to Indo-Asia-Pacific maritime security and supervised five junior sailors. Damien conducted extensive research and delivered real-time intelligence products to war fighters, planners, and policy makers in the U.S. Pacific Command (PACOM) Area of Responsibility. LT Hansen's timely intelligence briefs to senior officers provided dominant information advantage to the Commander and supported the Pacific Fleet in anticipating, deterring, and defeating threats across the region.

Prior to his time with the Navy, Damien Hansen served a combined seven years at Dominican University of California in the capacities of Director of Housing and Assistant Director of Admission. Supplementing his professional pursuits, he was a long-time member of Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) and the Western Association of College Admission Counselors (WACAC). He has also been a long-term member of the Military Officers Association of America (Marin County Chapter) and the Association of the United States Navy.
