Damien is Peak Data's lead software innovator who specializes in web technology and infrastructure. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1995, Damien worked in the civil engineering field for a few years, after which point he jumped-ship into technology and hasn't looked back. Damien has spent the last seventeen years of his professional life dedicated to Internet technology: from networking and systems administration to software design and development. Damien is fluent in English, and can hold his own in French.
When Damien isn't working with technology, he can often be found in the backcountry; always happiest in the presence of mountains. In 2014 Damien successfully completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail with his three kids.
