Damjan Pasarić

Born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1986, finished elementary school in Zagreb. Between the age of 13 and 15 I also studied flute in the Functional Musical School Elly Bašić, after that I started attending First Technical High School "Nikola Tesla" in Zagreb, focus robotics and simultaneously attended a Master Builder apprenticeship, focus guitar, lute and violins in The Master Workshop and Museum of Franjo Schneider ( http://www.muzej-franje-schneidera.com/index.php/majstorska-radionica.html ). After a year of that I was forced to leave school because of family poverty and dysfunctional parents. Until 2006 I mostly did odd jobs and was mostly preoccupied with online studying ( coursera and some other MOOC-s )and independently producing and managing music, poetry, videos, fictional and theme literature and articles, blogs under pen names and organizing events in nature for cleaning up the local environment from illegal dumping. I was also actively following politics and international security issues.

In 2006 I started working in archaeology where I mostly worked on photography, photogrammetry, 2D and 3D CAD scanning and drafting, data collection, collation, sorting, analysis and archiving, field reconnaissance, and aerial photography and cartography.
After leaving archaeology in 2009 I worked briefly as a courier and together with Nathan Sanders founded the first core of United Citizens of the World, a international movement, and then started learning more intensely about web development, programming and planing for a small company for development, green energy and organic food production. In 2013 he started a company and until the reactivation of UCW worked mostly on web development, green energy and organic agriculture.

Now I own and lead a small company Mikros Aetos j.d.o.o. which mostly does web dev and marketing for a living but which is also very focused on innovation and new ideas.

My recent hobbies are computer clustering, hardware hacking, researching into wind and solar energy and anything that comes up in the moment and has anything to do with technology new or old...
