Painter, Artist, and sculptor in Connecticut

As of May 2015, I graduated from the University of Connecticut with my Bachelors in Fine Arts with a concentration in Sculpture/ Ceramics.

Since my early years, art has always been my passion. Over the years, my talent for it has grown and my skill has been refined through a variety of experiences, both scholarly and leisurely. I've been fortunate enough to gain many friends and clients through these experiences, as art has become a part of my personal growth.

By face painting during the summers for many occasions like birthday parties, reunions and even neighborhood events, my skills have excelled and allowed me to launch a Face Painting business. For me it is a life lesson in working with children that have a wide variety of personalities and with four younger siblings, my patience in working with youth, comes in handy and makes work so much more fun!

For four years in the end of my high schooling and beginning of my college career, I volunteered at Neighborhood Studios of Fairfield County in Bridgeport, CT as a sculptor. For my first two years there, I was one of the sculpture students and we were taught about teamwork among different types of people and meeting deadlines for art gallery showings. During the following two years, I was on a team of great artists that helped instruct the new sculpture students and worked on pieces that were and still are featured in art gallery shows throughout Connecticut. The combination of my university education, work at Neighborhood Studios and freelance art work has allowed me to gain knowledge, experience and exposure in and about art. It has also helped me understand the business behind art as I've learned to price, sell, budget and display art for gallery display and private purchase.

I am currently a freelance artist and the owner of my face painting business. The main goal I am working towards is to own a studio where I can create, display and sell my work. In addition I would like to teach children and young people who have a love for art. For them to cultivate their skills, increase their passion and make a profession out of their work would give me fulfillment. I would like to display not only my art, but the art of my students in my gallery. I want to continue learning more art techniques and ways to develop my talent through training and traveling as I set out to accomplish these goals.
