Damont Batchelor

Damont Batchelor, also known as "Yoshi", is a professional DJ based out of Hartford. Showcasing his skills at numerous venues not only in the greater Hartford area, but also the Tri-State area as well, he has proven time and again that his understanding of the dance floor is unrivaled.

Starting as a Trance DJ in the late 90's, Damont found his sound returning to his more house roots by early 2002. Fusing disco laced house tracks with electro beats became a signature sound of his. Playing dual roles as a mobile DJ and club-centric DJ provided the unique opportunity to blend electronic music with mainstream music. This blending of genres (known now as "open format") pushes him to the ultimate edge of his mixing ability. Blending today's hits with yesterday's classic, and adding a hint of house sets Damont apart from his peers.
