I write songs and perform in the band City Over Sand, we release music independently and self produce in Blindboy Studios, a suburban studio on the outskirts of the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. I also perform as a soloist. Since 1998 I have released a handful of records on tape, CD and digitally. I developed a keen interest in music, specifically the guitar after my football career came to an end in the under 9's. I have an Arts degree and I have a job! By day I work in Local Government as a Senior Program Officer in Arts and Culture. Amongst other things I coordinate an Arts funding body and run a contemporary music program. I have worked as a full time musician, in TV Journalism, in a record store, in PR, in theme parks, in an Arts Centre, in a restaurant and in a cinema to name a few. I have a wife and two beautiful kids and live in the suburbs. Love a great wine. A crappy coffee usually ruines my day.
