To be honest, my interaction in social media is inconsistent and evolving, so I don't have any hard and fast rules about how I use it. For me, this medium really is about the conversation - learning from each other - so I try to keep it real. I realize that might seem a bit ironic given you will likely receive an auto-thankyou if you follow me on Twitter (and I apologize for that), but the human element really is important to me.
