I joined IBM in 1974 where I managed the development team for the very first swipe at the gas pump credit card purchasing system. Since then as an independent consultant, I have reprogrammed the security and maintenance systems for a nuclear power plant, developed international insurance systems, and helped to develop award winning real time language translation text chat. My joy is helping companies worldwide to expand and make the best use of their technology systems. What I care for most is teaching, and helping all levels of users get the most from the Internet, smart phones, tablets and personal computers, for fun and profit! My incredibly loving wife Joan and I have 11 grandchildren so far... who we absolutely adore! We just found out that our youngest daughter has twins on the way!
