Dan Skelton

Hello, I'm Dan Skelton. I am an enthusiast computer builder & technician, with over a decades worth of knowledge of computing.

I am twenty years old, from the Isle of Wight (UK). I'm the sort of person that is a bit shy at first, but I'm more of myself when I get to know you more.

Something I'd like to get into, is photography. I currently own a 16MP Sony DSC-W730 which I got as a gift, and I enjoy going out taking pictures of random stuff. You can see some of my photos here.

Outside of my nerdy world, I like to go out for walks on nice sunny days with a friend, do something productive, clean my house (yep, I do enjoy that :-D).

I studied IT at The Isle of Wight College for two years, and gained two BTEC First Diploma's out of them, which I am proud of, even though they aren't as good as an actual Diploma. After a year or so, I wanted to do another course, which involved networking and Cisco. Unfortunately, I gave that up, as I was shortly employed, and found it hard to study and work at the same time.

I currently seek to have a career in computing, as it is my greatest passion. I enjoy working with computers, fixing them, building them, and learning about them. I learn something new with them almost every day. I don't know what I would do without them.
