Dan Whiley

Since even before studying for a degree in Engineering, I’ve enjoyed building and improving things. After helping companies to grow whilst a strategy consultant in London and Los Angeles, I left to join the “real world” to make a real difference.

I’ve worked with major international media companies to help them grow their digital business by stressing the importance of keeping the customer front of mind, and always looking to see where the value is for the business. I push the importance of tracking the data to be able to quantify and improve on results and I’m always looking for a way to make things better.

I’m a firm believer in leading teams by setting a strong direction and being there to coach and support. This approach has been key in my being able to make changes that are as much cultural as they are structural.

I’ve recently arrived in California, have obtained full Employment Authorization, and I’m looking to bring my experience as a strong business leader to a company that is looking to grow.

Outside of work, I'm a keen cyclist, competing in both road and track cycling events. I play tennis (very poorly) in Los Gatos and I also play with a Samba drumming group based in Santa Cruz.
