Dan Griffin

I am a write, documentary filmmaker and music producer based in NYC. Originally from down south, I ventured north 27 years ago to work with artists such as 10,000 Maniacs, Suzanne Vega, Billy Bragg and many more. I had the good fortune to manage and produce Scotty Moore and D. J. Fontana, Elvis Presley's original guitarist and drummer, and executive produced their Grammy-nominated CD, All the King's Men, direct a documentary about their comeback in the mid-ninties and co-authored a book about their lives, The Blue Moon Boys. I have toured with the Rolling Stones, Elton John, Lenny Kravitz and Jewel among many others. I am currently working on a new book and two documentaries.
