Dan Evans

London, UK

I am a Freelance Sound Engineer for Theatre and Live Events based in London, UK.

I studied at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, graduating in 2011 with a degree in Sound Technology.

Whilst in Liverpool, I gained a huge amount of knowledge and experience which has enabled me to continue working in the industry, steering towards sound for theatre.

Since graduating, I have had the pleasure of working on various productions, including Dreamboats and Petticoats, The London 2012 Ceremonies, Rock of Ages and most recently, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Savoy Theatre in the West End.

I also play various instruments and have a very eclectic taste in music.

In my spare time I also like to work with computers and the internet, with a keen interest in HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. With the help of my Raspberry Pi, I'm also trying to teach myself a few other programming languages such as Python and C.
