I've lacked direction since high school. With so many options out there, how do you chose your life course? The idea of choosing a life course is not only daunting, its terrifying. I've always been bright and hard working but never chose anything. One day it hit me. Why not help people solve the exact problem I've been struggling with. Who better to relate to somoene who is unable to find their ideal job?
I'm an extremely social person with excellent communication skills. Working for a crisis intervention phone service has provided my with excellent skills in empathy and understanding, the conerstones to effective communication. During my time conducting academic research, I learned how to conduct extremely extensive research on very specific ideas. My attention to detail has become very refined because when you're studying a specific congitive functioin, you cannot mistake it for a different one, even though there are so many grey areas and unknown processes in the brain. I am grateful for the experience because I was able to work with a tight-knit team going to present ideas at conferences.
I value honesty and transparancy with people as well as business. The person I idolize the most is Bill Gates. His business success is virtualy unrivaled and his charitable work with education, sexual health, and environment is inspiring.
