Dan Hope
I am a young sports writer dedicated to building a successful and professional career in sports journalism.
I am currently 19 years old, and a second-year student at Ohio State University. I am the Patriots Gameday Correspondent and an NFL Draft Featured Columnist at Bleacher Report, the third-largest sports media website in the United States. Additionally, I am a staff writer at NEPatriotsDraft.com, and a senior sports reporter for The Lantern, Ohio State's student newspaper. I am also currently an OSU football broadcaster for Scarlet and Gray Sports Radio.
My previous experience with producing sports-related content includes operating my own blog, producing a weekly podcast, and broadcasting football and basketball as a junior and senior at Sutton High School.
I specialize in covering the sport of football, both Ohio State football for The Lantern and SGSR, as well as the NFL draft and the Patriots for B/R and NEPD. Versatility, however, is also one of my strengths. I have written about a wide variety of sports, and specialized in writing track and field and swimming analysis as a member of B/R's 2012 Summer Olympics coverage team. I have also been published in the Arts and Campus sections of The Lantern for content not related to sports.
