While I was attending California University of Pennsylvania I challenged myself by majoring in Sport Management. I decided to further my education and strengthen my chances of success and opportunities by going for my Master’s degree in Sport Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

My tenure at LA Fitness as the Assistant General Manager has given me the required qualification to do the task at hand. I was in charge of meeting a required new member goal. My responsibilities also stemmed to facility operations, marketing and customer service. I was also in control of fitness assessments and orientation to new and present members. I also developed and trained a staff that exceeded revenue expectations. As the Assistant General Manager I was accountable for the preparation of Member Appreciation Days, which were held twice a month, and weekend open houses held the first Saturday of every month. I was also in charge of marketing these events.

While working at Foundations Behavioral Health I have been able to work with adolescents with disabilities, conduct disorders, and other mental and physical limitations. I have been responsible for creating and implementing many therapeutic programs, and also keeping and maintaining a safe environment; while also conducting and following each child’s program for their individual treatment goals. I am in charge of conducting therapeutic and recreational activities such as: basketball, fitness, and team building groups. I also helped prepare these teens for life after Foundations with job searches, and in some case looking at potential colleges.
