I love dessert. The passion that I have for things that are sweet does not compare to that of anyone else's in the world, and throughout the years, I have come to realize that my love for dessert is far more than just a craving.

It is a lifeline.

It is the only thing keeping me from my emotional downfall – Failed an exam? Let's go for ice cream. Just got broken up with? Let's grab a quick milkshake. Had your luggage stolen on your girls trip to Mexico and never saw your carefully hand picked outfits ever again? (I don't wanna talk about it) Let's stop for boba!

There's nothing like a sweet treat to keep me from losing my mind during my ever so stable college years. So much so that I decided to get a job at an Ice cream shop. Which ice cream shop may you ask? Well, none other than THE Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. Jenis is my all time favorite dessert shop, the love that I had for the ice cream flavors that are so carefully curated with their unique texture and buttery body compelled me to be part of that experience in some type of way, and I loved every second of it.

The cozy aroma of their freshly made buttercrisp waffle cones that would linger all around me for days, paired with the thought of a complimentary ice cream cone awaiting me after a 6 hour shift made me count down the second til I could walk into work. Nothing like a nice hefty scoop of brambleberry crisp under a scoop of their famous coffee with cream and sugar all in a warm crispy waffle cone to keep me sane amid my hectic college days.

My love for dessert is truly unparalleled. It brings me happiness, and seeing it bring happiness to others brought me a sense of distraction from the chaos of the outside world. A blissful escape into the world of a sweet course is all it takes to keep me happy.
